APRC - 2013 | Round 2 - Rally of New Caledonia

After a thrilling season opener in Whangerai, New Zealand - The second round of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship is all set to begin its action at the Island of New Caledonia. After an successful shakedown, Team MRF driver Espekka Lappi & Gaurav Gill feel good with the setup of their car and so does the rest of the competition. Gaurav Gill went fastest in the shakedown stage. Production class leader, Sanjay Takale too is on a high with his recent victory in his first outing in a 4WD Subaru Impreza in the previous test at Whangerai, and hopes for a similar top finish on the podium. Micheal (Mike) Young, the young lad from New Zealand had not just won his class, but also finished on top roll with clinching the overall 3rd in the APRC competition. APRC 2013 | Round 1 - International Rally of Whangerai, New Zealand

International Rally of Whangerai , marks the beginning of the new season for A sia P acific R ally C hampionship this year. It also dawns to a new level of competition, with Team MRF bringing in the Finnish rally star, Esapekka Lappi as their driver for one of the two Skoda Fabia S2000 car, along with India's ace rally driver Gaurav Gill . Proton Motorsport have opted out of all International events this year, quoting to concentrate on their home-ground events. Citing this development, FiA too has opened up a new class for the production based cars to compete in its own category. Toyota too have come up with their 2WD Yaris rally car & is driven by Micheal Young , who also did take it up to the podium in 2WD class and third overall in the APRC level too. Esapekka Lappi took the honors of the champagne showers on top of the podium. Gaurav Gill completed the 1-2 finish with an overall second place to claim full points to Team MRF . Top 5 Final

APRC 2012 : Round 6, China Rally

The final round of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship's season 2012 is scheduled for the 43rd weekend at China. Top-gun drivers will be battling the harsh roads in the most dramatic scenic roads, which has all the elements and more.. The roads are winding on the ledge of the mountains are a big challenge to all and makes it more interesting than any other rounds of the championship. APRC 2012 : Round 5, Rally Hokkaido

Round 5 of the FIA APRC, 2012 season is on the word 'GO' in about a day! The rally is famous for the really fast and narrow forest stages & the most famous SSS stage in the woods. Proton Motorsports have maintained the attack with their two Proton Satria S2000 cars with Alistar McRae on car #1 & Finnish Juha Salo in their second car, as their other driver P.G.Andersson is going to attack the stages of Wales Rally GB with two Proton Satria S2000 cars with the second new driver Tom Cave  [from GB]   in the team. So at both the events the four drivers will be driving at max to achieve an anticipated victory on both the important round of either championship rally. Team MRF is not in a very good position as their no#1 driver Chris Atkinson  will also be driving in Wales Rally GB , but behind the wheel of Mini WRC for Mini Motorsports Italia , even so his name is already in the top of the entry list. APRC 2012 : Round 4, Malaysian Rally

Day 2: Update [Rally Finish] There was a turning point for the day's rally & the leaderboard changed dramatically. _ ______ __________________ _ __________________ ______ _ Day 1: Update [Rally Start] At the start line of the rally, all the boys were very happy & full of vigor, but every thing was set to change in short time. Lots of drama on the opening day of the rally itself, when the rains played its dominance against the top drivers & cars of the championships. At the end of the day Proton's PG Andersson leads at a comfortable lead of more than a minute ahead of Team MRF's Gaurav Gill. However, Gill's team-mate & the championship leader Australian Chris Atkinson had his share of problems at the opening stage of the rally & lost over 22 mins to the rally leader! APRC 2012 : Round 3, Rally Of Queensland

The third round of the season is held at Australian land, expecting a good weather. Team MRF so far is dominating after winning the first two rounds of the season 2012, with Australian Chris Atkinson in the opening round and Indian Gaurav Gill in the second, and aims for a Hat-trick by winning third round! Added to the boost to Team MRF, there is a huge amount of morale support for Chris in his homeland by fellow countrymen & two new homeland sponsors backing up see him to the victory. APRC 2012 : Round 2 - Rally New Caledonia

The second round of APRC season 2012, the Rally New Caledonia. Season just got exciting with the Team MRF getting into the S2000 with Skoda Fabia's battle evenly with the factory Proton Satrio S2000's. A footage of the rally winner! Fight for the podium was intense and yielding MRF Skoda Fabia's with first two top positions with Indian Gaurav Gill at the pole and Australian Chris Atkinson at the runner up and privateer Brian Green finishing just inside the podium position. The rally had one of a kind SS route with deep gorges lining along the roadside making it spectacular yet leaving very little margin for error.
